Appointments

  • It is recommended to schedule ahead if there is a time that works best for you to ensure your needed appointment time.

Emergency Appointments

  • If you are in need of immediate assistance, please call 9-1-1

  • Notify (call, text, or email) your therapist if you request an appointment within 24 hours


New Clients

Initial appointment

Getting started

  1. First, call and speak with the counselor to schedule an appointment

  2. Then complete the forms linked below on this page

  3. Email completed forms at least 24 hours prior to your first appointment.

    • Gmail offers an encrypted email option if you are uncomfortable sending as a normal attachment.

Therapy Portal

  1. After your paperwork is processed, you will receive an email from Therapy Portal.

  2. Create a profile (this is necessary in order to attend your telehealth session).

  3. Complete the Payment Authorization Form in your Therapy Portal prior to your appointment

Attending Your First Session

  1. Click the Therapy Portal button

  2. Log in

  3. Click “Join Session”

Returning Clients

Consecutive appointments

Scheduling appointments

  1. Click the Therapy Portal button (above)

  2. Log in

  3. Click “Request Appointment”

  4. Choose an available time

    • requesting an appointment blocks that time on the calendar so that no one else can schedule.

Pause in Counseling

  • Portal accounts archive after 60 days without a session.

  • Please contact the counselor if you wish to continue after a pause in counseling.

Health Records

  • Health Records are available upon request and will be accessed through your Therapy Portal.



The Counseling Process

(Excluding Changes or Emergencies)

First Session

  • review intake information

  • hear about your reason for seeking counseling

  • hear about your personal support

Phase 1 (weekly sessions)

  • hear about your experience with the issue

  • hear about your history with the issue

  • process related emotions

Phase 2 (sessions every 2 weeks)

  • implement new strategies

  • experience successes and failures

  • find what works and does not work

Phase 3 (sessions ~once a month)

  • Practice successful strategies to form long-term skills

  • make adjustments as seasons of life change

Phase 4 (gradually space out sessions)

  • complete the counseling process when you feel confident

  • only check in if needed or if something comes up in life!
